Knitted sweater for penguins

Sushiesque reports on these knitted sweater for penguins:

This project is part of the The Penguin Jumpers Project :
Over 15,000 jumpers were collected, which will be stored in Oil Spill Response Kits around Tasmania. In the case of a major oil spill, these jumpers will be used to help rehabilitate Little penguins (Eudyptula minor) that have been oil affected. Oil clogs the feathers of these tiny seagoing birds, and reduces their insulating and waterproofing qualities. Even worse, the penguins attempt to clean themselves by preening, and rapidly become poisoned.

Four cop cars took over an hour to catch a gang of teenage thieves who had escaped on a cart pulled by a donkey. Officers from the Greek town of Patras said they were unable to keep up with the donkey which the boys steered down the old town's winding streets and narrow alleyways. The chase, which one eyewitness described as "unbelievable", only came to an end an hour later when the young thieves, aged between 13 and 15 turned into a dead end. Police caught the trio with a safe stolen from the local hospital on the back of their cart.
